Just been to see Cutter’s Way at the NFT. I’d recommend it for John Heard’s performance alone, but add to that a witty, off-beat script, Jeff Bridges perfecting his detached dude schtick years before Fabulous Baker Buys and this, the chilling, mesmerising score from Jack Nitszche. Glass instruments. Feel free to watch the clip, but I think you should play it again without watching. Just listen.
